Terms and Conditions

Fine Tuning Medicine – Terms & Conditions 

These terms and conditions relate to all services provided directly by Fine Tuning Medicine (FTM) and Anna Joti Swerdlow, the sole practitioner.

1. Definitions

1.1 FTM – Fine Tuning Medicine
1.2 Client – The individual requesting or receiving services
1.3 Booking – The agreed appointment time during which FTM provides treatment
1.4 Service – The treatment(s) requested via booking form, phone, email or online system
1.5 Practitioner – Anna Joti Swerdlow, the sole provider of all services
1.6 Individual – The person receiving treatment
1.7 Premises – The treatment room at Lombard Avenue or any other location stated and agreed
1.8 Deposit – A non-refundable fee (where applicable) to confirm and secure the booking

2. The Provision

2.1 All treatments are delivered solely by Anna Joti Swerdlow, a fully qualified and insured practitioner.
2.2 Treatments will be carried out with professionalism, care and within the practitioner’s scope of practice.
2.3 If Anna is unable to attend due to illness, injury, emergency or other unforeseen circumstances:
• The appointment will be rescheduled to the nearest available date, or
• A full refund will be issued for services not delivered.
2.4 In extreme circumstances, FTM may cancel a booking and will offer a new date or a full refund.
2.5 The practitioner may refuse or discontinue treatment if an Individual is considered unsuitable, including but not limited to:
• Misconduct or inappropriate behaviour
• Broken skin, lesions or contraindicating conditions
• Undisclosed medical conditions
• Intoxication (alcohol or substances)
• Pregnancy under 12 weeks
• Safety or wellbeing concerns
Full payment remains due if a session is terminated for misconduct.
2.6 Under-16s require written parental/guardian consent.
2.7 Appointment times include discussion, assessment and changeover; hands-on time may vary accordingly.
2.8 Treatment choices will be accommodated where possible; modifications may be required based on safety and practitioner judgement.

3. Data Protection

3.1 All personal and medical information is strictly confidential and used only for treatment purposes.
3.2 Contact details may be used for essential appointment communication only.
3.3 Marketing contact will only occur with explicit Client consent and can be changed anytime.
3.4 FTM upholds an equal opportunities policy.

4. Practitioner Responsibilities

4.1 The practitioner will act professionally, ethically and within UK legislation and industry standards.
4.2 All necessary equipment will be provided by the practitioner.
4.3 Appropriate hygiene, health and safety measures will always be followed.

5. Client Responsibilities

5.1 The Client must provide accurate medical information prior to treatment.
5.2 Any changes to health or medication must be communicated before each appointment.
5.3 Late arrival will shorten the treatment; full fees remain due.
5.4 The Client must provide accurate address details for any off-site sessions (if agreed).
5.5 Alcohol or substance intake prior to treatment should be minimal.
5.6 Additional or extended treatments must be pre-arranged; on-the-day extensions may not be possible.
5.7 Any site access or safety requirements must be communicated to the practitioner.

6. Payment

6.1 Fees are as stated on the booking form, website or written communication.
6.2 Payment is required in advance unless otherwise agreed.
6.3 Deposits (where taken) are non-refundable.
6.4 Gift Vouchers
• Gift Vouchers must be redeemed within the stated validity period.
• Expiry dates are clearly marked and cannot be extended unless agreed in writing; an admin fee may apply.
• Gift Vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
• Gift Vouchers must be presented at the time of booking or prior to the appointment.
6.5 Late payments may incur a 3% daily interest charge above the HSBC base rate.

7. Cancellations & Refunds

7.1 Once confirmed, the following cancellation policy applies:
• 7+ days’ notice → 100% refund (excluding any deposit)
• Less than 7 days' notice → 50% refund (excluding deposit)
• Within 24 hours or no-show → No refund; full session fee remains due
7.2 Appointments may be transferred to another person with prior agreement.
7.3 If FTM cancels, the Client may reschedule or receive a full refund.
7.4 Refunds are processed within 10 days.
7.5 If a Client is unwell or unsuitable for treatment due to undisclosed medical conditions, this is considered a 24-hour cancellation.

8. Complaints

8.1 Concerns should be raised directly with the practitioner during or immediately after the session.
8.2 If not resolved, the Client may contact FTM within 5 days. Evidence may be requested.
8.3 Refunds are offered at the discretion of FTM.

9. Liability & Insurance

9.1 FTM maintains full professional liability and treatment insurance.
9.2 FTM is not liable for loss, injury, damage or expense arising during treatments or on the premises.
9.3 Clients accept responsibility for their wellbeing during and after treatments.

10. Amendments

10.1 FTM may update these terms periodically. The latest version will always be available on the website.
10.2 Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of updated terms.

11. Jurisdiction

11.1 These terms are governed by English Law and fall under the jurisdiction of the Courts of England & Wales.
